Hogbin Drive Opening - Photo Gallery
The Hogbin Drive Extension was officially opened on Saturday, 1 March 2008 and a Community Fun Day was held to celebrate this historic event. The photos below give an impression of the day.

 Hundreds of people watched the parade cross the bridge

 Looking to the future, new prestige cars were also included

 Futuristic vehicles such as these drew lots of admiring looks

 Community members were then invited to cross the bridge

 Many thronged the bridge to be among the first to cross it

 Hundreds of people walked where normal traffic now flows
|
|
 The Community Fun Day ended at 12.30pm and the road was cleared and opened to traffic at 4.00pm
