Photos of Construction of Water Filtration Plant
Work began in October 2007 on the construction of the new Coffs Harbour Water Filtration Plant at Karangi.
The $59 million Water Filtration Plant project is one of three major projects being implemented through the Coffs Infrastructure Alliance. The project is expected to be completed in early 2009.

Local media were at a site inspection of earthworks in preparation for construction of the new Water Filtration Plant. A total of 22,000 cubic metres of earth was removed from various construction sites, 8,000 cubic metres of high quality fill was restored, and 5,000 cubic metres of fill is being recycled to build the Bakers Road storage facility, a flood mitigation project (photo Nov 28, 2007). |
