Photo Gallery Stage 2 works

Construction of the new Coffs Harbour Water Reclamation Plant began in November 2006. The new $96 million plant is located adjacent to the existing sewerage plant between Howard Street and Christmas Bells Road.

Below are photos showing the progress of works in the construction of the new Coffs Harbour Water Reclamation Plant:

Pumps have been installed to distribute reclaimed water for a wide range of users including nurseries, sports grounds, schools, and the race course (photo February 3, 2009).   Part of the new Water Reclamation Plant, including the oxidation ditches, switchrooms, clarifiers, UV filtering, sludge building, secondary aerobic chambers and anaerobic reactors (photo January 30, 2009).

Reclaimed water is used for testing of clarifiers one and two (photo February 3, 2009).   Oxidation ditch number one is also tested using relaimed water (photo February 3, 2009).
