Coffs Harbour Bike Rides and Cycling Maps

Coffs Harbour City Council encourages residents and visitors to ride their bicycles, and has been working over the years, and will continue in the future, to improve its existing cycleways and create new ones. Council also works together with local cycle groups and clubs with the aim to get more people to enjoy our beautiful city and surrounds on bicycles.

Maps of Cycleways

Council has produced special maps showing cycleways and regularly updates the maps if there are changes or new cycleway sections. You can view and download the various maps here:

Community Bike Rides - Saturday mornings (every week)

Coffs Cycle Club, the Bicycle Users Group (BUG) and Coffs Triathlon Club holds weekly community bike rides on Saturday mornings, which it started in September 2006 during NSW Bike Week.

The rides are suitable for road, mountain or hybrid bikes, and available in three skill levels - easy, medium and challenging. The rides start at 6.30am in Coffs Harbour's City Square and will end there again around 7.45am, so participants can enjoy a coffee or breakfast there afterwards.

Bicycle Clubs

  • The Coffs Harbour Bicycle Users Group (BUG) holds bicycle rides every first and third Sunday of each month.
For more information, visit the Coffs BUG website
  • The Coffs Harbour Cycle Club organises longer rides for its members, track racing events at the Velodrome as well as mountain bike rides.
  • The Coffs Harbour Triathlon Club holds triathlons from September-May and duathlons from June-August in and around the Jetty foreshores, often on the first and third weekends of the month. Visit the Coffs Tri website for further information.
