The Orara Valley Axemen Sevens Competition was held in the Orara Valley, just west of Coffs Harbour, for the third year running in 2007.

The Sevens Tournament took place on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 January 2007. It is part of the Orara Valley Axemen's Big Week of League, which ran from Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 January 2007.

The Sevens tournament is growing bigger and better each year, with spectator numbers growing from 15,000 in the tournament's inaugural year to approximately 20,000 in 2006. In 2007, 40 teams took part, including 10 international sides, who battled for a record $22,250 in prize money.

The 2007 tournament featured two-time defending champions Lebanon, 2006 runner-up Fiji Bati, 2006 crowd favourites Japan, 2005 runner-up Maltese Knights, as well as two returning NRL clubs, the Gold Coast Titans and the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
