Restrictions
- Vehicles using designated beaches must use only officially constructed beach access tracks when entering onto the beach.
- Vehicles are to drive below the high tide mark whenever possible and during high tide drive as close to the high tide mark as possible.
- Driving on vegetated dunal areas is strictly prohibited.
Speed Limit
The maximum vehicle speed is 25 kph when within 100 metres of pedestrians and beach users and 50 kph at other times.
Special Purpose/Commercial Fishing
Enquiries regarding vehicle access on non-designated beaches for a special purpose or for commercial fishing purposes should be directed to Council's Parks and Recreation Branch in writing.
Ultra light aircraft
Ultra light aircraft and motorised hangliders are prohibited on all beaches within Coffs Harbour City area and offenders will be subject to on the spot fines.
