Glass Bottle Bin Locations
These are the locations of glass bottle bins in the Coffs Harbour area.
Hazardous Waste Drop Off
Household quantities of hazardous waste such as pesticides, chemicals, motor oil and car batteries can be delivered free of charge to Coffs Harbour England's Road Waste Facility, Nambucca Waste Management Facility and Raleigh Waste Centre.
Mobile Phones
MobileMuster is the official recycling program of the mobile phone industry. There are several drop off points in Coffs Harbour, which can found on the MobileMuster website just by entering your postcode. Council's administration building on the corner of Coff and Castle Street is one site you can drop off your old mobile phones and accessories as part of the MobileMuster program. Please DO NOT drop off landline telephones, including cordless phones.
You may also call Clean Up Australia on free call 1800 024 890 for a special postage paid envelope. Returned phones are sent to developing countries for use or are recycled.

Old or Unwanted Medicines
Old or unwanted medicines can be dropped off at most chemists free of charge.
Plastic Bag Recycling
Most Coles, Woolworths and Safeway stores now accept plastic bags for recycling or provide reuseable bags at a cost. Planet Ark provides a list of participating stores. Visit recyclingnearyou for a full list.
Please try and avoid using plastic bags where possible. Plastic bags are NOT recyclable through the kerbside recycling service. Either re-use your existing plastic bags or better still, buy a reusable cotton or calico bag.
Printer and Toner Cartridges
Printer and toner cartridges can be dropped off at your local Post Office or Harvey Norman store.
Recycling Drop Off Centres
Recycling Drop Off Centres in the Coffs Harbour area are located at England's Road Waste Management Facility, Coffs Harbour; transfer stations at Woolgoolga, Coramba and Lowanna.
Bellingen area facilities are located at Dorrigo Waste Centre, Raleigh Waste Centre, Bellingen Transfer and Recycling Centre.
Nambucca Waste Management Facility accepts scrap metal, white goods and car bodies only in stage one of the new service.
