Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan 2013 (LEP 2013) was made on 27 September 2013. It has replaced (repealed) Coffs Harbour City Local Environmental Plan 2000 and Coffs Harbour City Centre Local Environmental Plan 2011.
An associated Development Control Plan (DCP) applies to all land that LEP 2013 applies to.
A DCP is a planning document that supplements provisions in an LEP by way of more detailed planning and design guidelines.
Coffs Harbour Development Control Plan 2013 (DCP 2013) has consolidated and replaced the previous 32 Coffs Harbour City Development Control Plans which applied under LEP 2000 into a single document. It also replaces Coffs Harbour City Centre DCP 2011 which applies under Coffs Harbour City Centre LEP 2011.
NOTE: At its meeting on 13 December 2012 Council resolved to defer some lands in Hearnes Lake/Sandy Beach, Emerald Beach and Moonee from Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan 2013 and DCP 2013. Local Environmental Plan 2000 and the associated Development Control Plans for Hearnes Lake/Sandy Beach and Emerald Beach (Map 1) and Moonee (Map 2) continue to apply to those deferred lands.
See Archived Planning Instruments page for more information.
