Each year NAIDOC Week celebrations are held nationally around Australia in recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders - the first peoples of Australia.
The week is an opportunity to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and recognise their achievements within their own communities.
This year, NAIDOC Week will be held from 7-14 July. There's loads of great events happening. Check out the calendar below:
2013 NAIDOC Week Calendar
Once again Coffs Harbour City Council and the Yandaarra Aboriginal Consultative Committee will be acknowledging the achievement of local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who have made a significant contribution to their local community and the spirit of NAIDOC.
Wherever you live, taking part in NAIDOC Week is a great way to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultures and to build bridges between all Australians.
