Payment methods
There are several different payment options available to you to pay your rates.
Fee for Credit Card Transactions
These fees are necessary to cover costs associated with credit card transactions charged to Council.
- A fee of 1% of the total transaction amount applies to credit card payments made over the counter at the Council's office.
- A fee of 0.6% of the total transaction amount now applies to credit card payments made over the telephone and the Internet.

Direct Debit - Payment made automatically from your bank account.

BPAY - Contact your Financial Institution to pay from your nominated account.

In Person
At Council - EFTPOS available (no cash out), Visa and Mastercard
(Council is located at the corner of Coff & Castle Streets, Coffs Harbour)

Post Office - Pay at any Post Office by cash or cheque.

By Phone - 131816 (24 hours/7days a week)

By Mail - Send the bottom tear-off section of your account with your cheque to:
