Events for Adults:
Strata Living - know your rights ~ Tuesday 12 May at 11.00am
Do you live in a strata title development? Are you thinking of purchasing a property with strata title? If so, come along to the Coffs Harbour Library to listen to solicitor Chris O'Brien and a representative from the Department of Fair Trading discuss what your rights are and how you can resolve a dispute. Refreshments to follow information session.
Older people and the law + free advice sessions with legal aid ~ Thursday 14 May at 10.30am
Are you moving in with your family and want to make sure your interests are protected? Do you want to know about wills and Powers of Attorney? Are you a grandparent wanting to know about your rights? Sally Bryant from Legal Aid will be presenting an information session talking about these topics and more. Sally will also be offering short appointments for free legal advice following the session, until 1.00.

Special guest Senior Constable Amy Chinner will be joining the children at storytime during Law Week. Feel free to dress up like a police officer.

Did you know Coffs Harbour Library is part of Find Legal Answers a free state-wide service based in public libraries and on the internet? We have a Find Legal Answers Tool Kit, a collection of easy-to-read, practical books on the law. These books are carefully selected and regularly updated by specialist librarians in the State Library of NSW.
