Local Author PATRICIA DEGENS will be at the library to launch her new book ...

"The girls' grand tour"

Pat has written of the events of her tour of Europe and the United Kingdom in the 1950s. The descriptions of Europe in the fifties will bring a feeling of nostalgia to many. The book is based on her letters sent home during the tour, and is a glimpse of an earlier time.

Book launch details:

  • Thursday 28th August, 5.30-7.30pm, at Coffs Harbour Library
  • The book will be for sale at the launch
  • Refreshments will also be provided
  • Entry by gold coin donation please
