Information
Need a hand to find information, but don't know where to start? That's where Librarians can help. As information professionals, we can quickly guide you amongst the wealth of human knowledge to quickly provide you with the answers you need.
Nothing is too big or too small! Typical daily information enquiries are:
- What's the population of Sawtell?
- What are the laws regarding noise pollution?
- What's the meaning of this Aboriginal word?
- I need recent articles on the euthanasia debate in Australia
- What are the symptoms and treatment options for Wilson's disease?
- Where do babies come from?...I need it for my kids!
Our Reference team is there to help you with your information needs. All YOU need to do is ask!
Information Desk
The central library at Coffs Harbour has an Information Desk which is staffed by the Reference Team. They can assist you to find the information you need within our own on-site collections, on our online databases, or from the Internet. The Library can also obtain items from other libraries via our Inter-Library Loans service to satisy our member's information needs. Reference requests are taken in person, by telephone, fax or email ... however we prefer that members use the online form below.
Online Request for Information
You must be a Library member to use this service (your Library card number and PIN/Password is required). Information requests received from this web form are reviewed daily by the Reference Team. Please complete the form with as much detail and accuracy as possible, you need to be specific about what you need!
