DRAFT NORTH BOAMBEE VALLEY (WEST) RELEASE AREA DEVELOPER CONTRIBITONS PLAN (CP)
Council resolved at its meeting of 18 December 2014 to seek a Gateway Determination from the Minister for Planning for a Planning Proposal (PP_2015_COFFS_002_00) which seeks to rezone parts of the North Boambee Valley (West) Investigation Area for residential, industrial, environmental protection and public open space purposes.
Council also resolved to place a draft DCP and draft CP applying to that Investigation Area on exhibition, pending endorsement by the Minister.
In accordance with the Minister’s determination, Council will exhibit the Planning Proposal, draft DCP and draft CP under Section 57 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

The exhibition period will be for 28 days from Wednesday, 29 April 2015 to Wednesday, 27 May 2015. The Planning Proposal, draft DCP, draft CP and associated documentation may be viewed at Coffs Harbour City Council Administration Building, 2 Castle Street, Coffs Harbour during normal office hours.
Written submissions must be accompanied, where relevant, by a “Disclosure Statement of Political Donations and Gifts” in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government and Planning Legislation Amendment (Political Donations) Act 2008 No. 44 Disclosure forms are available from Council’s Customer Service Section or on Council’s website www.coffsharbour.nsw.gov.au/disclosurestatement.

and are to be submitted no later than close of business on Wednesday, 27 May 2015.
Council is committed to openness and transparency in its decision making processes. The Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 requires Council to provide public access to information held unless there are overriding public interest considerations against disclosure. Any submissions received will be made publicly available unless the writer can demonstrate that the release of part or all of the information would not be in the public interest. However, Council would be obliged to release information as required by court order or other specific law.
