Council resolved at its meeting of 28 August 2014 to seek a Gateway Determination from the Minister for Planning for a Planning Proposal (see reference number above) which seeks to alter the boundaries of the existing IN1 General Industrial, R2 Low Density Residential and E2 Environmental Conservation zones within Lot 1 DP 777555, Hamilton Drive, Boambee East.
The Planning Proposal was previously exhibited from Wednesday, 19 November 2014 to Wednesday, 17 December 2014. However, it has substantially changed as a result of negotiations between various government agencies. As a result, to ensure transparency and the protection of public interest, the Minister for Planning has issued an altered Gateway Determination to allow the Planning Proposal to be re-exhibited.
In accordance with the Minister’s determination and Council’s original resolution at its meeting of 28 August 2014 Council will exhibit the Planning Proposal under Section 57 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.
The exhibition period will be from Wednesday, 16 December 2015 to Wednesday, 3 February 2016. The Planning Proposal and associated documentation may be viewed at Coffs Harbour City Council Administration Building, 2 Castle Street, Coffs Harbour during normal office hours or via the links below.
