Draft Boambee East Community Reserve Plan of Management
Council resolved at its meeting of 28 April 2016 to exhibit the Boambee East Community Reserve Plan of Management for a period of 42 days.
The draft Plan of Management will review and update the 1998 Plan of Management. The Daft Plan has been prepared to guide the future use and management of the Reserve. The Plan defines community, recreation, environmental and cultural opportunities whilst ensuring the protection of natural values within and surrounding the site.  The Boambee East Community Reserve Plan of Management Plan can be accessed via the link below:

A copy is also available for inspection at Council's Central Administration Building and the Coffs Harbour Library, Toormina Library and Woolgoolga Library.

Council invites submissions from the community on the draft Boambee East Community Reserve Plan of Management. Submissions will be accepted for 42 days to allow time for interested parties to seek information and make a submission.
The exhibition period is from Friday 29 April 2016 to Friday 10 June 2016. A community workshop/public hearing on the proposed plan will be conducted at the Boambee East Community Centre, Bruce King Drive, Boambee East at 6.00 pm on Tuesday 17th May 2016.
Council will accept submissions until close of business on Friday June 10 2016.

Council is committed to openness and transparency in its decision making processes.  The Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA) requires Council to provide public access to information held unless there are overriding public interest considerations against disclosure.  Any submissions received will be made publicly available unless the writer can demonstrate that the release of part or all of the information would not be in the public interest.   However, Council is obliged to release any document by court order or other specific law.
