Where are we?
The
Coffs Harbour 2030 Plan was formally adopted by Council on 17 December 2009. In addition to the Plan itself, a
Community Ideas Booklet has been published that captures the wide range of ideas that came out of the many community workshops and forums during development of the Community Vision 2030 and the Coffs Harbour 2030 Plan.
What is Vision/Coffs Harbour 2030?
This project represents a very significant step for our local government area.
Through extensive community engagement, we've produced
Community Vision 2030, capturing the long-term aspirations that the people of Coffs Harbour hold for their city as a vibrant and sustainable centre.
The process has also led to the development of the
Coffs Harbour 2030 Community Strategic Plan, driving our planning and actions for the coming decades.

How can I get involved?
The implementation of the Coffs Harbour 2030 Plan is an ongoing and evolving process. As a community framework, a number of 2030 structures are now in place including the
Community Advisory Group and a range of
Community Working Groups. The 2030 Plan is all about taking action, with programs like the
Coffs Harbour Community Big Ideas Night and the Southern Cross University Forum Series among the initiatives so far.
If you are interested in becoming involved please sign up to the enewsletter or contact the
Project Manager.
Who is driving the project?
The project is being overseen by the Steering Committee which consists of Council's General Manager, the Mayor, all Councillors and a number of senior staff. A Working Group has been set up to manage the project as well as a partnership group to consist of representatives from across different agencies working in the area.

‘This project has been assisted by the New South Wales Government through its Environmental Trust.’
